Making the Standards Connection
Throughout the MAT Program the assessment of a candidate's performance across all coursework and a spectrum of experiences is evaluated in relationship to the Rhode Island Beginning Teacher Standards (RIBTS). In this section of the Program Portfolio, through the inclusion of specific items of evidence, the MAT candidate demonstrates how, in her/his opinion, she/he has met an acceptable level of proficiency in each of the RIBTS. The evidence is presented in a variety of formats including: Featured Work Pages, PDF Files, Quick Time Files, and Power Point Files.
