Anne Ellegood wrote of her work, "Rachelle’s willingness to take up questions of gender, power, and stereotyping with provocative, and sometimes public, gestures struck me as very brave and forceful. Her use of humor allows for a seductive entry into difficult topics, but does not reduce the potential impact of her explorations into the social tension and conflicting messages surrounding sexuality, beauty, and self-awareness."
