Portfolio
Welcome to my RISD MAT
Program Portfolio, which is a required component of the MAT Degree
Project. This portfolio provides comprehensive documentation of my
work and experiences in the Department of Art Design Education’s
cohort teacher preparation program during the academic year
2006-2007.
The portfolio provides a
profile of my personal background and experiences as an artist
linked to my philosophy of teaching art design to students in
elementary and secondary school settings. Additionally, for each
course in the program, I provide samples of evidence, which
demonstrate my proficiency in meeting the Rhode Island Beginning
Teacher Standards. Further, beyond the required coursework, I
provide documentation of evidence that showcases my involvement in
community-based teaching and how I have throughout the MAT Program
maintained personal connections to the discipline of art &
design.
