You, Fall 2010. 11x17.

These posters experiment with hierarchy, space, composition and form in a 11 x 17 format. All posters are comprised of a photograph of a butterfly clip, sketches of butterfly clips, a letter, a word, and an image of a vegetable. This assignment was for the graphic design sophomore class Form & Communication. Instead of focusing on meaning, these posters are a foundational assignment in creating composition with adverse elements.

Unfamiliar Icon, Fall 2010.

These icons were made to communicate the form of a butterfly clip for unfamiliar, somewhat familiar, and familiar users, focusing on structure, aesthetic and visual articulation.

These letterforms combine the dynamicism of butterfly clip icons with the structure of a letterform.
